So, after losing 2 Death Stars and the bulk of the empire in the process, some tard in the First Order said "Hey! Let's build ANOTHER giant planet-killing weapon that is also quite vulnerable!"
Geniuses.
Also, what the heck was the Republic doing for 30 years while these guys were building this thing? You'd think somebody would have noticed.
In regards to Han dying, I don't like it, but I can see why they did it. For one, I'm sure Harrison Ford is just sick of the role and wanted to be done before he went senile. For second, it's a classical "passing of the torch" move. They'll kill off all the old heroes and the new ones will survive, then we will be expected to accept them as the new set of characters we care about.
I like Kylo Ren. I like that he's immature and unstable. I'm sick of all the clean-cut maniacal-ism and pure-evil of the bad guys. I wanna see a tortured soul at work.
Also, they made Poe Dameron too good of a pilot. In the scene at the bar place, Poe literally destroys like 10 fighters with intermittent ground support fire that accurately hits storm troopers standing like 2 feet from Han and Chewie, ALL within a span of like 30 seconds. If he's not a latent-force user, that's just bullcrap. How come there are like no good tie pilots?
On that note, why were the tie pilots chasing Rey and Finn on Jakku smart enough to see them running to one ship and blow it up before they got there, but didn't blow up the Millenium Falcon before they got there? Or became unable to shoot it once it was in the air? Horse crap.
I'm hoping Episode VIII is better in the way Episode V was better than IV.
