"Bright Future" Parts: I, II, III, IV and V

*The sun of Chester was radiating bright red light which was turning the whole space in to a light show. Lucious Robinson, captain of HMS – Royal Sovereign, was observing this phenomenon from the bridge of the ship, when suddenly…*

Robinson: Attention! Unknown vessel spotted and closing. To your stations men. Be on High Alert!

*Bridge doors opens, Lord Jarrow enters*

Jarrow: Stand down captain Robinson."That" is the guest I was expecting.
Robinson: As you wish, Baron. Standing down all weapons.
Jarrow: All personnel - leave the bridge, immediately. Captain, inform my former crew not to worry. Everything is under control.
Robinson: Very well.

*Jarrow jams all communication channels except the one coming out from the bridge. He changes the encryption level to be set at maximum. He is closing to the bridge window observing the outcast ship closely*

Jarrow: So...you have arrived just as I expected. The...subjects...thanks to whom I was able to get your attention proved to been saying the truth about this place.

*After few seconds of silence*

Jarrow: Don’t be silent. Speak to me... I am following the path of Light you shown us in New London…thanks to your gift...the Azurite. Show me the Light as you see it...and I will do as you command. *nods*
Oracle|ThreeWinds: I can’t help but notice how this thing looks like a fish.

*Jarrow maintains silence for a moment and raises his head*

Jarrow: I wasn't expecting you to have such sense of...humor.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Well, often people take things a little too seriously.
Jarrow: To be honest was expecting something...speaking higher of itself and to pity those around.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Ohhh..Pity..its a human trick.
Jarrow: I've never witnessed the wonders your kind have revealed us in Bretonia. Never...Our House was always considered uninfected, in the eyes of the others compared to Liberty, Kusari and Rheinland. But suddenly we got your attention...I would like to know why.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: To be frank Rhienland and Liberty have been....hungrier then your House or even Kusari.
Jarrow: Hungrier? Are you referring towards the people you infested?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Closer to humans digging up the graves of the old ones.
Jarrow: So, why Bretonia...why now?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: So, to get all the wonder out of the way there inst much I can tell you about this. Its mostly due to the Gallics whom..well..
Jarrow: Gallia is a cruel force. We never knew Nomads like the other Houses but I can fairly conclude that they seems as powerful as your kind. Or even more powerful.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: They are being led by a man who beliefs he will succeed. But I know they will not. They will accomplish much but will stop short of their goal.
Jarrow: I have limited knowledge of your kind, but I know emotions still exist ...aren't you afraid? Afraid to be defeated by Gallia?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Fear is a dark emotion. Few of those exist within the Light. Though they know of it. They know... they can inspire it just as well. And as far as weapons and technologies...the Light withhold much more. Then they bring to bear on mankind.
Jarrow: Knowldge is powerful tool to wield against anyone. You are a walking "book" , filled with knowledge which I would like to “read”.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: It is my duty to answer those who seek.

*Jarrow moves around the bridge and observing the Red sun of Chester*

Jarrow: I would like to learn from your teachings. Don't be confused of a possible hidden agenda. I am aware your kind is far more ...intelligent than mine.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Oh they are vastly more intelligent then I as well. Being adopted that is the first thing..
Jarrow: Still...I can't resist the itching need to know more and...become more. When I saw the Asteroid your kind thrown upon us...I was shocked. Not from the object...but from the lack of information that lead to this incident. I felt like all we knew was nothing in comparison to the power of the evil spirits knows as the Nomads.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Stunts such as those.. are signposts to the gallics. We know what you can do.. what you can bring to bear.. The risk is that the gallics will ignore them. We are comfortable with the current... balance.
Jarrow: Gallics are of no concern any longer. Knowledge is all - Power to wield the Light and see clearly the future.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: If that is what you desire...

*Jarrow kneels slowly*

Jarrow: That might be of an issue but I recommend we use what I have to offer, until the day comes when "that" wont be needed.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Good…you understand.

Jarrow: Just because my people are blind...doesn't mean I would give away from them easily. I don't want you to keep assaulting the people of Bretonia. You might fight the military...its their duty to fight back...but leave the innocents away from this.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: I can only say that in war.. innocents are often caught... between us and those who have wronged us. Hmm.. A wanderer could deliver a seers eye to you..
Jarrow: What is seer's eye...Oracle?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: A seers eye …if you were to see it would seen to be a marble of unremarkable mineral. But its a vary…"low tech" transmitter but beyond suspicion. And process to analyze it would destroy it. Its vary delicate.
Jarrow: Is it safe to be used from anywhere? Is it traceable?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Only a telepath can sense it. Humans are telepathic...in a limited sense...but have long disregarded those seances. This will awaken yours.

Oracle|ThreeWinds: The only group I know that awoke their full potential were a group of zoners. Their line.. was highly suspect by their own.. zoners and order persecuted them.. so they went deeper into space...They could by line of sight speak to the K'hara freely
Jarrow: How were the order able to trace them down?
Oracle|ThreeWinds:: The zoner group was sold out by their Freeport administrator. I believe by that example alone.. is the reason the Light has not sought complete annihilation. They could never isolate the genetic sequence that gave them the ability...neither could we for that matter..However..the youngest daughter..is my good friend. And when your ready, you will meet her…

Oracle|ThreeWinds: She takes you from when you complete learning from me. She has..a much larger mind.
Jarrow: Where is your home?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Most of us stay home on Malta. A few of us seek and gather information in the shadows of space.
Jarrow: How many entities are in the Oracles?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: At current?...oh dear..Exarchs like me? There are 9. Around 58 Windcallers? I think? A hundreds of thousands of Seekers.
Jarrow: How many individuals you have, that are currently working in the Governments of all Houses? Few? None?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Many more in the intelligence areas...perfectly human. But Seekers. We don't...like to put them in danger? They elected to assist and learn from us the least we can do is keep them safe. It isn't so much that we have seekers within the Order, the Houses...and various corporations. The vast amount in other groups.
Jarrow:Oracle...I forgot my manners.How can I call you? Do you have a ...name?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: I am Thomas...Three Winds is the name the Light gives me. You will have an identity of the Light,eventually, as you get closer to your personal truth.
Jarrow: Is..."Thomas" your old human name?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Thomas Aquintas the third. The past master teachers were all Thomas's. But it isnt a position of authority - we all share it.
Jarrow: So be it, Thomas.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: As you have some authority...and are in a high position…our…associations are based on merit. Which means while i know much and can translate and promote understanding..I am a child...
Jarrow: So, from what I understand you do not have the kind of...agent...I had a vision to become. I would like to be the first of a new kind of agents...such that would maintain their position and be undetected. Is there hope in the Light for my vision to be realized?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: There is a way they say. But you will have to be ready.
Jarrow:Ready for what? Illuminate the path for me, what is to be ready about?
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Well your body as is.. will ruin. So we would have to...put you in a new one. And take this from my experience...it isn't...like changing pants.
Jarrow:That might be easily arranged, considering my situation *Observes his life support armor*
Oracle|ThreeWinds: The human body is.. intrinsically human the moment it is altered or changed...that gives those who are looking a clue. So while this new "platform" is not complete yet. It should work.
Jarrow: As long as my mind remains the same, it would be no different for me what "skin" I wear. As long as its safely hidden from preying eyes within this armor.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Good. But its still a big transition. Your mind may need to stretch a bit.
Jarrow: I understand. And like I pointed out, we need to move slowly or we might end up blowing off my cover. How can I contact you again, Thomas? The way I've managed to...arrange this meeting was not easy one and would not like to repeat it again.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: The seers eye will be in your possession soon. Otherwise you can send a message into the neural net anonymously.

Jarrow: Impossible! Long range scanners indicate someone is closing. I am activating the ship’s cloaking device.
Sian,Breacon: Sian: Aey'u.....oh…
Oracle|ThreeWinds: I didn't read an ID...But you may need to destroy my ship.

*Sovereign’s Cloaking device is turned on*

Jarrow: I will maintain the cloaking field engaged for several minutes before we depart. I had something else to ask you about.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: That was fast.I’m jealous.
Jarrow: My field can maintain the ship invisible for 15 more minutes so, we have little time left.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Mine takes time but it is indefinite.

*Jarrow stomps with his fist the window of the bridge*

Jarrow: It was foolish to believe we would not be traced here. I doubt this one was close enough to scan us, nor he did heard any of our discussion, since we were using a secured channel.
Oracle|ThreeWinds: Oracles are harmless we can stage any amount of incidents to establish your loyalty. We... do not feel pain either.
Jarrow: There will be no need for such...measures at this moment. This pilot will find nothing.

*Sian continues to scan the area at 15-17k, trying to track the ships which were currently cloaked*

Oracle|ThreeWinds: Just be cautious. your is a rare thing. You will find it. Wanderers are...very good at delivery will draw it off.
Jarrow: Very well Oracle Thomas. I will depart. Once the Seer's Eyes are ready...contact me privately. Send your call to "Baron Piett”,Maximum security, Jarrow Island.

*With these words Jarrow cut the transmission off and opens the ship’s log file where the history of all transmissions was saved. He traces the long list down to the final “new” file and removes it permanently. He is thinking*
