Background Information

I grew up on Hamburg - planetside, of course. There were worse places to grow up in, but there were certainly better ones, too. Things have gotten better since my childhood, but I still count myself lucky to have the opportunity to write to even you today, given the state of our local economy. My father told me to aim high - and with my grades, where better to aim than at the Rheinwehr itself? I've been skiing on these mountains almost since I could walk, so you can rest assured I have the reflexes necessary to pilot well. I've held a civilian pilot's license since I was sixteen, too - and I passed first time. My experience is mostly limited to day trips inside the system itself - usually in the family Anki - but I know my way around the sims, too. I know they don't compare to what you have in the academy, but I'm confident that I have a good enough grounding to give it a fair shot. More than anything, though, I'm prepared to put my life on the line, working to make Rheinland a better place - not just to keep the status quo.
