I think Laura covered everything else well enough, but about the ALG thing:

You're probably thinking of Helgoland, which belonged to ALG when we cleaned up the Yanagi Debris field and was then sold off to the GMG.
There were Junkers on the station, and from the information you got on the base they were the ones that got scrap in really hazardous areas. You know, stuff corporate insurance wouldn't cover.

I wouldn't consider this "using", it's more that they worked in the same area on the same thing together. They still do, there's just no station like that anymore.
