Buro. Geoff and the Tombstone

I encountered a Buro agent in Coronado who was conversing with the Initiative, the agent is identified as one the Director of Special Operations. During the short conversation, it is revealed that the Buro is involved with the Maltese Nation for reasons unknown, this was also previously speculated with Geoff Enfield as people expected him to be in league with the Maltese, he previously had links with the Initiative. It’s also highly believed that he is opposed to the Initiative’s plan of using a superweapon against the Nomads.

It may be possible that the Buro is attempting to benefit from the sympathizers in order to obtain more materials for their Nomadic based research. Some records on the Buro’s meetings in Omicron Rho is still archived, for now, it’s probably best to keep our noses out of the Buro’s movements until we can figure out what’s going on.

Some information concerning the Tombstone is also revealed, it was upgraded in abilities, and can detect vessels several light years away - supposedly. Be alert for it.

Missing Sentinel, The Initiative

Plans regarding Sentinel Foulke extraction is in the works. Foulke is currently trapped in Omicron Delta, Planet Nauru where his ship crashed within some ancient ruins, the Initiative will back us with some agents. A team with a maximum of five units will be deployed to ensure his survival. The squad will be led by one Sentinel, who I shall announce later this week.

About the Initiative, it's noted that their forces are growing more and more, ANC tagged vessels have recently joined up with them, adding more capital and fighter assets to their fleet, however we do not need to raise caution as their intentions seem to truly be concentrated on the Nomads. I have recently been investigating the Initiative and talking to their leader, Joshua Hunt, his previous intentions prior to his incapacitation was to unite Humanity by using the singularity cannon forcefully against oppressive subjects. Fortunately, he has seen the repercussions of that and come to realization that Humanity will never be following one ideal and will always be in conflict with something. They are still working on Project “Dawnbreaker” - the name of the singularity cannon’s chassis, and are in need of a Powercell. Unfortunately for them, all of our gathered cells are put to use.

Anyway, the Initiative will prove to be resourceful allies and collaborates in the coming future. We have already discussed the probability of setting up a base front in Kansas, and the possibility of synergy with projects is likely.

We have provided the Initiative with some intel concerning our research on Azurite generators, albeit outdated by two versions.

A backup plan will be formulated in case of treachery from the Initiative’s end. This is, of course, a pre-caution.

Upcoming Operations and Plans

Operation Resurrection is nearing completion. The external sections of the Eidolon has been repaired, the energy suppression field is constructed but the remaining components and replacement reactor core is still in need of deliveries. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting on external contracts to do their part. Additional subjects may be required. As the assets on the external repair is complete, the engineering team can be allocated to focus on the reactor, allowing it to be completed quicker. The Eidolon is temporarily using the secondary generators to sustain power.

Upon completion of Operation Resurrection - the Eidolon will be sent out on test operations against more feeble targets in coordination with the Hellfire Legion to get a real-time analysis in combat, coordination and performance. Once these reports are complete, we can venture out to gather more intel concerning the aliens, as systems will be optimised for action.

Project Ataraxia will be inquired into with the Commonwealth. Word was mentioned by Lord Commander Locklear that spatial taxation may apply when it comes to terrestrial structures. If worst comes to worst, we can adhere to the fees. The Viper, Nixie and other assets will be deployed on Ataraxia defensive duties to secure the zone. The Eidolon will also be briefly present for the first few weeks at it’s post.

When the primary modules are constructed, we can slowly work towards other modules throughout a long period. Sectors will be voted on before commencing the construction./

The location will act as a safe house, training and research facility for our pilots.

Of course, this will not happen over night, and we will be required to plunder from our enemies. Additional assistance will be highly expected. As long focus and concentration is kept at a steady pace, we can achieve a functional facility within a solar year, perhaps even less.
