Or listen to it again, at least.
I think faction leaders could promote a different mood.
No, because I have better things to do with my bandwidth than upload 2 hour recording with absolutely nothing happening for 95% of it-- that doesn't make for a good video, nor is it one that anyone will watch to completion

If your hand hurts and you think it is no fun, then just fly away and log off.
If you feel like you are being forced to do something that you absolutely hate (because it for sure sounded like this on TS), then don't do it.

I can't wait to pull this quote out next time I hear a complaint about a Tau fight when there's copious basehugging again. The matter is simple; we weren't having fun. Overall the event was a success and I'm sure most my guys would be down for another, if the events that transpired yesterday weren't repeated verbatim.
I held the cap's fire to prevent the whining and to try to show respect for Calvius's event, and am now being whined at anyway-- good to know this is the reaction I get from those that are apparently so busy showing less than contempt for myself and my faction members that they can't see past their blatant dislike of said people. I'll keep that in mind the next time.
Oh, also: you have 0 right to complain about a "fair fight" when you all selectively decided to keep the fight "balanced" and pile everything on the XTF the moment the fight starts, kill it, and then decide to back some ships off. That particular brand of unsportsmanship, coupled with the constant shieldrunning, the broken ship usage, the hugging of our caps to avoid taking fire, and the laughable RP of "loldie" as the barest excuse for an engagement message makes every single complaint your side levied at us ring every bit as hallow Jack. It is my usual policy to respond in kind to unsportsmanship but this event we decided to try to be the bigger people-- the result was complaining anyway. This did nothing but confirm my assertion that the only way to reliably handle this behaivour is to give it right back to the perpetrators in turn. Thanks for proving me right.
Anyway, thanks for the event Calvius-- the capfight was fun and if the pitfalls of this one can be avoided and some people's behaivour corrected, we'd certainly be down for another one. Here's hoping your Murmillo escort doesn't lag out next time eh?
Cheers~
