Murm could work, though it'd be better to have a base that can house caps as the Omicrons are more of a cap-orientated enviroment. Although would Corsairs have a reason for so quickly darting back into Delta? Would it be a useful allocation of resources? Wouldn't the AI prove to be a problem in Kappa?

I still think the Freeport would be a better alternative without cluttering up the system though. 9/10 Core uses the Freeport more than Yaren to RV for raids, and we almost never see hostile ships waiting to jump on us. Or at the least, we'll have the courtesy for the other side to pick up in numbers before fighting breaks out in those rare occurances. I do think this is also why NFZs and FP Laws are a flawed concept though. System design isn't done with player RP constructs in mind. Besides, a Zoner whines about Corsairs at the Freeport - would that be wise?

Anyway, at the end of the day it could just be a player problem. A 2 system distance isn't that large. That's what Core had to traverse (until the recent layout chagnes, which have made this difficult) to raid Mu from Delta and it was no issue. Even though we had a base in Capetown we honestly barely used it for incursions into Order space (it was more of a supply depot for remains farmers). Order and Nomads, until recently, as well as AI and Outcasts don't have bases in Omicron Delta yet have/had still frequented the system for activity. I do also blame the lack of natural ambient activity in the Omicrons, as it boils down to the majority activity being geneated via "X IN OMICRON Y LOG" being yelled in skype echats. And stupidly Corsairs, who are also a piracy faction, have almost nothing worthwhile to pirate in the Omicrons. There's no decent trade activity there (which is what the Omicrons really need, and that sneaky Luneburg>Rho shortcut allows traders to circumvent all of the Omicrons also), which means there's not really any opperuntities for piracy.

Both inRPly and ooRPly, Corsairs haven't been removed from Delta. Their presence is just less than what it used to be, both due to inRP and perhaps ooRP factors.
