Allow Nomad Capitals for the indie Nomad ID (and some other changes)

I foresee tears on a scale not witnessed since the days it was suggested to remove all Zoner caps from the mod. I understand the desire to create more activity, but do you really feel the Community is mature enough to handle this? That question would apply to both those getting blasted by Nomads with minimal RP as well as those doing the blasting.

The roleplay would be about as minimal as what you'd find with any other ID. Blanket defining that as the norm is an overstatement as well. I'm sure we'll see players ranging from engaging with 'minimal' RP to engaging with excessive RP. I do feel the community on average is mature enough for this. And heck, we can always trial it and if it really does turn out to be as bad as people say it is, we can just undo it

As far as the Admins handling any bad eggs that abuse this ID, it is true that's their job. However, the Admins would be doing a disservice to themselves by allowing it. Why would they deliberately create a scenario where they would have to deal with a lot of butt hurt folks?

Perhaps we should remove caps from every other ID then. An extreme measure but fair if it ensures there will be minimal butthurt, and the admins won't have to deal with the guilt of having created a scenario for such problems to ensure in the first place. We've all seen the drama that every ID is capable of, but at the same time we've all seen the quality roleplay and PvP every ID is capable of.

I see nothing good from it, and frankly, that's the very reason I decided not to continue with my own abusable ID, the Phantom replacement faction, Revenant.

Well, your Phantom concept and this are a world apart. Your concept was about creating an entirely new faction and an entirely new role in the mod. My concept is about freeing up the Nomad ID so that indies can stand toe-to-toe with their neighbours instead of being constantly outmatched and outnumbered. And I say this as an Edge Worlds faction leader who's seen what the situation is. Notice how there's barely any Nomad indies in that video.

The problem nowadays is that if you see an indie nomad, 10:1 it's a Rabisu. Marduks are easy to pop if bombers are logged. Also, groups like Pravda can have a credible threat gunning for their massive cap fleet.
Speaking as a Core| pilot, I want to see those caps around because then I can move away from my usual fare of Rabisus and start popping non-Geb capitals with more frequency.
