As I'm the kapitan of my own ship now, I suppose I should start keeping a log of what's goin' on around here.

It's been a hectic few weeks since the Omega 3 incident on-board the Kruger transport ship "Dunkelstein". I sort of wonder what the Hessians did with Kapitan Bayer... not that I really care, he was a stuck-up slave-driver of a man anyway! I mean what kind of self-righteous idiot do you have to be to give the order to open fire on a bomber squadron that's just trying to broadcast a message? Typical Federal-Loyalist thinking, really.

Needless to say, that was the final straw for me, I've sold up everything I own, including the old family home on New Berlin, and paid credits-up-front for a rusty old Serenity class transport which I've dubbed "KaninchenExpress". Now me and a bunch of the other survivors from the Dunkelstein are working for the Hessians, they pay well, and certainly treat us better than the old Kruger overseers, I just can't believe it took me this long to make the jump and get involved in the revolution.

Running the goods they need back and forth across the embargo lines has been interesting, a slightly different line of work from what I'm used to. Shouldn't have any more engine cut-outs now though, since Dieter gave them a full overhaul, nearly got into a bit of a jam when we were found drifting by a wing of fighters from the Liberty Navy's 5th fleet.

Anyway, enough of this, no point sitting here recording logs all day when there's a bar full of Rheinbier to be had!
