Its kind of like a series of bad decisions were made or something.
Like minor apparently being completely decimated. Rip order
Or Gallia, lets stretch the players across even more systems!
Or the retention of piss-poor players on the grounds that the server needs them. Regardless of the fact their only contribution is just mining helium and farming more capital vessels.
Surprisingly, new players don't learn anything when they are all cooped up in a single area. So your statement on learning is actually correct.
Then the peace treaty is dumb as all hell. I don't see the point in playing Rheinland and cooperating with a group that AT MOST does a few runs in New Berlin with a gunship and calls it a day every couple weeks.
Maybe i'm an ass, but its stupid to deny the faults of you lot as well.
Because story advancement isn't a thing. Because this is a pvp server first and an RP server second. Because adding 2-3 systems to Gallia caused everyone to leave. Because banning people from the server even though they're not breaking any rules is a great policy to have. When I first joined I stuck to Pennsylvania. But guess what, after a few days, I got bored. I flew to Theta and bought an Eagle. I explored Kansas, I bought a ship and started mining in Omega 7. People aren't robots who stay in the one sector of space 24/7. It's human nature that they'll want to go out and see the rest of the mod, but instead of them being able to do that and learning how to roleplay and the lore of the universe, they get killed by some jackoff who doesn't care about roleplay or the server. They get angry and leave the server and don't come back. They're not given a chance to improve their play styles.
If you hate it here to much, why the hell are you here.
