Following recent negotiations and talks between the Republic of Liberty and the Bundesrepublik Rheinland, an agreement between was reached between the parties and and a peace treaty was written, to allow a new era of prosperity for both houses. As a sign of trust and good will, the Republic of Liberty decided to send a delegation to Planet New Berlin where the treaty will be signed. The escort has been organized and the convoy is due to depart soon.
The Rationale
The convoy will be carrying several important diplomatic corps of the Republic Of Liberty, necessary for the signing of the peace treaty on Planet New Berlin, and as such an heavy escort was chosen to be further reinforced by the Rheinland military.
However on another perspective this would be bad news for the Unioners and their closer affiliates. The chaos of the ruins of the battlefield between the two houses long provided the perfect conditions for them to practice their shady activities and to harass any traders that went by, with little or no opposition from the already engaged militaries of the houses.
The breaking of the current situation in the region is something the Unioners will do whatever they can to not allow it from happening or to at least postpone it. Hence they gathered any forces they could in vicinity of Pacifica base to prepare an ambush on the convoy in the Hudson system in an attempt to prevent the convoy from reaching planet New Berlin.
On another system quite further away, the D9 agents, working as undercover spies found out about the Convoy, and they did not hesitate to make haste and inform their Rheinland counterpart, Das Wilde. Such an opportunity would be the best chance the infected forces would have had in years to spread terror and keep the war going to effectively cripple the houses economically and militarily...
Execution:
Time and date: 21:00 UTC (Server time) 13th of March (sunday).
1. Liberty ships will be gather up and organize in NY and pick up the VIPs in Plannet Manhattan. From there they will proceed to the Texas system adn then Hudson.
2. Rheinland forces will gather up in Hamburg, and then proceed to Planet Atka to join forces with the Liberty Navy.
3. Unioner ships will gather at Pacifica base in Bering. They will evade the Rehinland Military until the Liberty Navy convoy shows up.
4. D9 and Wilde ships will gather up at CB67 and wait for the Unioners to attack the convoy, before spreading terror on everyone
5. The convoy will be interrupted around D5/6 from the lane by the Unioners and the engagement will take place. Fierce merciless battle!
Slot Reservations will work on a first come first served basis, however priority will be given to unioner ships (especially when they are part of a unioner faction). Please hurry up to fill the slots, since this is will be tomorrow.
Event is taking place even if not all of the sots are filled up. But hey, the more the better for some good fun.
If demand for more slots is made, we might as well make changes.
