Dr Whitehall

Since we both do remember about the things that made our plans a bit more complicated, I do think we reached the consensus regarding one of our test subjects, C71J. It is safe to assume that Charles will be used only for keeping up with precious genes pool and a comparative (living) test subject for sample C78F. All in all, we really need both, even thought C78F seems to express more intelligence than C71J - which represents too hasty actions in order to achieve goal. I cannot really deny his ways of interrogation and tortures are useful, but character of his is not as subtle as we wished to be. C78F is way more subtle, as a contrast to the other one. Good thing he surfaced sooner than later, so the research could be way easily continued.

The raising tensions between C71J and C78F were noticed, since the former was in contact with his "brethen". I assume it was sort of jealousity caused by the fact he is not "the superior and perfect being" - his quotation however, we must sadly admit, is not true as we really would wish for. The yesterday's incident proved however that C78F is able to make quick but mathematically cold decisions, not sure if it is matter of induced instinct or there is something really remarkable about his way of reasoning. Loss of two marines which has been protecting and keeping an eye on him was a mere sacriface. However, such losses are just matter of easily replaceable human resources - some money would surely bring new volounteers from all places of Sirius.

As for the subject C71J, we agreed he must be locked for some time. His usefulness was surfaced in case of sudden Blackwood's disappearance, but while "Charles" captured subject Z62I, it made more harm than good. This is unacceptable, especially when test subject Z62I was MIA to the self-made hero in a gunboat. For time being, vessel formerly belonging to C71J will be scrapped and turned into something more useful, since an OSC vessel in Freelance hands gives too much curiosity. The scrap will be useful in upgrading the former Blackwood Estate.

Oh yes, as it comes for the estate, I would highly suggest to not to repeat the situation from past days. C78F expressed a huge lack of will to cooperate, as visible in our logs. I do believe loosening the leash would help. Why not to place him to there? The facility is still intact and, as you truthfully pointed out, the cameras are still pretty operational. This would keep us up-to-date with C78F's doings. But that, I leave to your decision, Doctor.

As for C71J, I made the preparations and now this subject is locked down - with all the guidelines I have surely fulfilled to the letter. First camera "malfunction" in his cell should happen today's night. Subject will surely learn soon enough what is price for the most utter insolence and failure.
