GNN news: CUFF WAR UPDATE

There is an update of the last encounter between AW forces and the CUFF:

The AW-Anduril, nicknamed "Flame of the west". Part of the AW taskforce that attacked the CUFF forces.


The AW task force main cruisers ember and Anduril preparing for battle:


Reinforcements Arrive! Gezza, from the 282nd elite AW swad shows up!


Reaver joined the AW taskforce against the CUFF. He was after a bounty:


Bombers doing recon, looking for the enemy cruiser on gamma unknown..


Contact CUFFS!. The Cuff cruiser moon-spawn found after a sneak attack against the anduril. Went warp as soon as the bomber wing entered the operations teather.


Warp Straffing!. THe Moon-Spawn entered weapons range while at warp, Bombers open fire but with little success.


The CUFF reinforcement showed up on our sensors briefly, but dissapeared almost instantly..


Pursue continues through Theta...


then Alpha... where they recived reinforcements. Surpirsingly they both run away instead of fighting 2 tiny bombers...


and Beta...


Uh... No. we are not stupid...


Reaver was hit by a torpedo and lost all weps. The CUFF escaped in the confusion. Could not jump because an NPC was using the jumphole :angry:


After that, the taskforce lost them from sensors.
We had to remark that they only engaged AW forces while 2 CUFF vs 1 AW. Almost destroyed the Anduril, but when the bombers arrived, they flew.

There are no more pics due to Korrd's recorder failure near beta JH. :(
