Stupid Question not Worthy of a Real Thread

Hi all.

I vanished shortly after the dawn of PoBs and have recently returned. I have a question about cloaks that is so rudimentary that I should be ashamed to ask it, but I don't know where to look for this answer so I'll ask it here.

I've noticed ship slots for carrier bays and hyperspace modules of sorts. Are cloaks like IDs in that they don't have an assigned slot, you just sort of equip them?
