As Brian followed Kunieda around the bridge, a somewhat confused, yet determined expression remained on his face. "That's the point. I didn't manage to find out anything. Most of the people I have known since before Toledo aren't there. I couldn't find Santos Bolevara or Johan Lennox. Others weren't available either, or the circumstances just weren't right."

Brian sighed and continued a bit quicker, on the verge whispering now. "Ever since we arrived to Mu, or maybe shortly before that, something has been... off. People were kept in the dark more and more, there were secrets upon secrets. I didn't even know the people I reported to by their names." He grinned, his voice returning to normal. "To think of it, we haven't met until recently either."

He stood near as Kunieda leaned against the window. "And no, I've been out of the loop about that 'Crusade'. But then again," - he looked around. - "I'm getting used to it. But the local maintenance crews seem more busy than usual. Thought someone from the Overwatch would know what it's all about."
