I could care less if someone wants to become a indie LSF, I don't "dictate" what people can and can't use, If you have a problem with my members or my faction, say something to me via PM, Or is that what everyone does, just go right to the posting.
"LSF-PC surely thinks that the ID should be restricted to their sole use."
Really? show me proof that i think that? AS i said, i don't mind indie LSF. *sigh*
I will change it to say Walker then. From what I gather he said that LSF would do that, but it appears it was something he would do an just EXPECTED the other LSF to do.. I'll take what Walker says from now on as Walker's opinions only from now on, regardless of the context.. I'll go add him to my 'ignore these people' list.:P
' Wrote:"Is it within rules for a player faction to dictate what individual players can and cannot use?" - it is - look at the capital ship restrictions made by players. - so whats the difference from an ID to a shiptype. - its wrong, but there you are.
I don't see many factions restricting ship usage.. Neither AW or TAZ has ever restricted access to the Zoner Juggernaut.. In fact, the only times I do see it is when 101st restrictd OC Dread usage, because there is a BS available and the dread is only sold in 101st's guard system. The RM seems to be taking a very similar stance towards people owning RH ships, they have to have a reason/excuse that fits RM's accepted standards, but they do this for ships OUTSIDE of their guard sytem.. And I competely disagree with what they are doing. Beyond those two occasions, I don't see anyone restricting ships.. Also, there is a VERY large difference between ship and ID. Ship means you could be restricting a ship that would be available to only high-ranking officers of a military or other force. Restricting an ID is telling someone they cannot become a member of an entire faction, regardless of RP, sportsmanship, etc, and that is completely wrong.
