I'm not sure about that, since the list is also used to switch to private channels. I know, a big amount of players don't RP in group and private channels, but are they definitely considered ooRP/meta?

Just asking. I, for myself, think it's annoying how often player tell me via private channel "pirate x is now here and there" or "there are x pirates here". I like those encounters to happen random, but I think it's okay to take a peak on this list to see where the action is (ie. those omega/omicron battles most of the normal players don't get to see). But that's only my opinion, and since I'm relatively "new", I'm not aware of all the arguments.

Reminds me the 'long range scanners' issue between the KNF and the LN factions, when the LN decided to fly all over through Kusari without a care. And the KNF caught them with the help of the Player List.

Nothing happened. I guess it's kind of a grey area, and maybe it should remain that way.

For example, would you expect to not be seen if you use the lanes and get in many bases' scanner range as you move through a house? If you're a wanted criminal, the authority will be on alert, and helpless civilians will shake and cry for help.

You also do not move another house's fleet through a house using their lanes without being caught, waving the SPESS 'MURRICAN flag.

If you were being careful and using the holes, staying away from places where you could be seen, fair enough... There could be room for complaining. Common sense.
