I run into a lot of people like that who just plain refuse to cooperate in the roleplaying a pirate. One time, I hail this guy on scanners, friendly hail just saying hi, his response. "Docking Bye Bye"

Well of course they don't want to talk to you. They don't know if and when you will decide to rob them. If you want a socia character either hang out with lots of other pirates or make a lawful character. Think about it, nobody hangs out with the guy hat robs him at gun point. They want to get as far away from that guy as possible, while shouting for the athorities to protect them and get thier stuff back. This is really a very silly comment.
