IMO, the Geb would be good as a battlecruiser. The Geb wasn't exactly in the OP, but for what it's worth, I agree with Epo's statement.
The Osiris can indeed fire 5 primaries forward - however, I think you have to have the ship at a slight angle in order to pull that off. I wouldn't be opposed to having that 5th primary's firing arc restricted to cover the aft sector of the vessel.
To Lythrilux: I am attempting to address both RP and balance issues. The Marduk would still reign supreme, but the Order and the Core would be able to even the odds a bit with more robust BSes. Is this shallow? If it is, what would be your remedy?
Your cap dev/advisor that can never get to actually get to editing inis because of irl here:
The Marduk does not currently reign supreme in terms of combat infact the Osiris is way better given its shape, arcs, and general handling in combat. The Osiris is a great battleship and is well balanced.
Also, whilst it can only fire 5 prims fowards, the 4 turrets combined with heavy slots mind you, makes the powercore of the mako really annoying to manage. its shape and armor nearly reflect and weapon slots reflect that of a medium bs hence the need for the powercore buff.
The osris and Marduk are fine as they are, if we rule out cloaks the Marduk might actually need a buff if anything given its arcs (as far as I know) are terrible, it moves like a slug, and it's as large as a Bismarck.
