I am happy to report that the transports of Saint Logistics have completed the contract of delivering 20,000 Optronic Arrays to your base at the Solitare Metropolis.
I would like to state that the missions flown by the crews of Saint Logistics and Saint Shipping were without issue, but sadly that is not the case.
On the very first mission, Saint Logistics was engaged by Pirates at the Jumpgate between the New Berlin and Stuttgart systems... practically on your front door!
The truly unfortunate part of the skirmish was the hit that the ship took by the Cruise Disruptor, no only did it bring the transport back to impulse speed, but the exterior video recorder was apparently damaged as well. A fact that I not only found when I tried to review the footage of the attack, but of the first delivery of the cargo that we had been contracted for. The only record I was able to recover was the default video system screen...
The attack was reported in a timely fashion to the local authorities, who assured me that nothing like this happens in Rhineland Space, and they would look into the matter immediately.
Bitte verzeih mir, Herr Hamann for the curtness of the engagement report, I mean no disrespect. It pains me deeply when my crews are put into more danger than they are normally accustomed to. Thankfully, there were no injuries sustained by the transport crew... and I must keep in mind how important that is. After all, ships and cargoes are merely items that can be replaced with only a minimum of effort. A life is an entirely different matter.
Back the the matter at hand, the remaining trips from Kusari space to your base were without incident. I added an additional trip at my own cost, as I could not in clear conscience, guarantee the condition of the Arrays due to the attack. Please find the transaction records here: Trip 2, Trip 3, Trip 4, Trip 5, Trip 6 & Trip 7.
If Saint Logistics can be of any additional service for your transportation needs, please feel free to contact my office on Planet Erie, Pennsylvania System.
