Why do we need carriers in Discovery?

I have an idea.

Allow players to reengage in combat if they're launching from a carrier. All players in 14k range get a green message (similar to docking messages) that a certain player undocked from the carrier, so they can reengage.

Ofc this would only work if upon death, the pilots respawn on the carrier.

So cloaking Carrier might be a thing, right?
