Your proposition is... interesting to say the least, it certainly warrants consideration. That aside; Tarxien's assets are few in regards to logistics capacity: supplies to aid in the repairs will need to come from elsewhere (and likely involve hybridizing Sirian and Gallic metallurgy and to an extent: technology) but the repairs themselves can likely be facilitated. However there is the problem of cost; the facilities needed for this would pull resources away from Bastia's production potential, and would mean less manpower and resources dedicated to Capital ship production. Such sacrifices would need proper compensation.

Your prior mention of the Guillotine's forward armament is piquing my interest but I'll have to get back to you on whether or not that will be sufficient. For now, continue what repairs you can and start stockpiling supplies.
