Temporarily buff heavy carriers until docking bays are fixed?

Do they really alter a battle that much? What's the difference between a ship coming in from 14K , a ship being with the carrier when the battle starts, and one undocking from the ship itself? Is saving a few seconds worth that much?

This is exactly why carriers aren't really useful. Heavy battleships are simpler, more useful and more fun.

Devs have more important things to do than give a temporary buff to ships, like fixing docking modules.

Well, yes. Again. But this isn't going to take them more than half an hour. Plus, the dev who was supposed to fix docking bays has left. She does make some random post from time to time, but as I understood, Alley isn't doing codes any more.
