Looking at APM Advanced Hardware and some of the sellpoints you added I thought they were a bit strange (i.e OC and Coalition buying stuff that their enemies produce?). Though don't get me wrong I think it's perfectly acceptable that there are some unlawful sell points, however I think this calls for the commodity to be split into both a lawful and unlawful commodity. So I had a brainwave.

I think it'd be a good idea to split up Advanced Hardware a bit more into specific cargo. This will create many more oppertunities for roleplay for both Core and other factions, as well as hopefully creating activity. I was inspired by Peregrine's post and so I thought of a bunch of other commodities that could be exported from Core bases. Pre-emptively though, it'd be good to delete APM Advanced Hardware then introduce these commodities. And in the case of AP-VROOMs it'd be good if you could remove the buy/sell points for Military Vehicles from Alabama Shipyard please.

AP Manufacturing Research Packages are an assortment of rare research materials and artefacts sourced from alien origins within the Edge Worlds, most likely Nomadic and Gammu AI in nature. AP-R.PACKs is exported along with instructions for precise maintenance, handling and use. However The Core and APM greatly encourage buyers to experiment with these packages and create their own goods from them. The Core has gone through meticulous effort to obtain these goods, and as such they are highly sought after by Military and scientific groups alike.

AP Manufacturing Armaments contained highly advanced military-grade weapons, equipment and augumentations that far outmatch normal Sirian arms employed by your average House Military. By reverse engineering alien weaponry, The Core has been able to re-create their alien discoveries and turn them into weapons, alternate power sources and equipment that can be employed by roles such as infantry or security, or can be adapted into vehicular and aerial weaponry. Whilst House governments publically denounce research into alien technologies, Sirius is constantly rife with internal and external conflicts. And thus, The Core always has the opportunity to profit from this.

AP Manufacturing Augmentations are a collection of consumer-grade cybernetic implants and biomechanical upgrades for the human body. Individuals may purchase one of these packs from their local pharmacies or other medical branches. Via a long medical procedure an individual can be ‘upgraded’. The slogan, as coined by AP Manufacturing and The Core, states: "You venture into the hospital as a mere human. You exit as a superhuman". The so-called 'superhuman' campaign has been at the front of marketing strategy for AP-AUGs. However protestors with more conservative attitudes, such as the Gaians, see AP-AUGs as an affront to nature and the desecration of the human body.

AP Manufacturing V.R.O.O.Ms (Vehicular Robots Optimized for Obliteration and Movement) are a revolutionary new product on the military market. Based on traditional Military Vehicles, VROOMs are large, mechanized, and bipedal heavily armoured walkers. With their advanced array of ballistics, lasers as well as EMP shielding a VROOM is guaranteed to dominate the battlefield. Furthermore VROOMs are also able to transform into motorized vehicles and back to robot form at will. The downside of a VROOM is that their large size makes it hard to fit into the cargo hold of a ship, meaning cargo space must be sacrificed in order for the adequate placement of a VROOM. VROOMs also require regular checks by AP Manufacturing personnel, to ensure that and their mysterious power source functions properly.

Being programmed to perform anything from household chores, offering companionship and, depending on the model, sexual desires. Modelled after Gammuian AI. Sam's are proclaimed as being the next evolution in AI technology. Controversially, rumour has it that The Core is secretly using Sam's to spy on the Sirius populace, however AP Manufacturing denies this and insists that they merely collect data on what Sirians like to use their Sam's for, and how they should proceed with them in the market.

AP Manufacturing Armour Plates are carefully constructed using sheets of Iridium mined from Planet Nauru by The Core. Refined and very dense sheets of Iridium are layered over each other, and each plate locks with the other within microscopic metallic locks located at the edge of each plate. AP-PLATEs are extremely hard and can withstand heavy impacts as well as fire from enemy ships with relative ease. The anti-corrosive properties of AP-PLATEs also make them ideal choices for hull plating when designing ships with extra defences to radiation. AP-PLATEs are the perfect armour solution for the Edge Worlds and have become a staple in ships built by AP Manufacturing, such as the AP-Line. AP-PLATEs are also used by other ship builders throughout Sirius. And using a certain recipe, AP-PLATEs can also be used as a compontent of anti-matter weaponry.

Apparently created by a company known by ViperCorp on the black market, Viper Munitions are the latest craze to flood the Sirius criminal underworld. Although sourced from alien technology, these munitions are only slightly more powerful than standard Sirian arms. Nonetheless, it has not stopped unlawful groups pursuing them and paying highly for their impressive power. Police factions speculate that the origin of these Munitions is somewhere within the Edge Worlds, perhaps even going as far to blame The Order. Conspiracy theorists however believe AP Manufacturing may be directly involved. These allegations are denied and The Core has committed itself to finding the exact whereabouts of ViperCorp. It is currently speculated that quasi-legal groups may at least have a hand in the flow of these goods.

These can be treated as contraband by everyone except unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and Core pretty much. So Contraband prices pls.

P'much, rather than having APM Advanced Hardware as a single, poorly explained, cramped commodity I thought it'd be better to split it up to encourage roleplay and route variation. I also think AP-AUGs will be cool because although NPCs do have some physical implants and the like, we don't actually have any commodities to represent this. Hopefully it will also create ethical dilemmas with the Sirian populace too.

Viper Munitions also are The Core/APM's foray into the unlawful market, whilst retaining their anominity (perfect for an immoral no-questions-asked faction right?). Through RP and interactions with quasi-lawful factions (and maybe even unlawfuls if we ever undo some rephacks), we look forward to setting up some good routes and creating some activity via Viper. This also means there can be commodities going to lawful bases with logic in mind, as well as commodities going to unlawful bases with logic in mind.
