"Over several broadcasts you may have heard our mention of the organization known as 'The Core'. Yet you ask yourselves 'Who are these people? What do they want? How are they a threat to the People's Republic?'.
Today the Ministry of Truth in conjunction with the Office of the Premier have decided you, the people, should understand what threat we face and why it must be stopped.
The Core, a former paramilitary force, is devoted to acquiring alien technology and other materials and destroy any who attempt to stand against them.' Why would they want this dangerous technology?' 'Have they not learned from the mistakes made by the Houses during the Nomad War?' you might ask, unfortunately such powerful secrets is a powerful allure that draws in any who seek power for their own gain. The Core has thus been sighted throughout the Omicron Region, attacking any vessel carrying even a hint of technology they want and are even willing to murder the previous owners of said technology.
'How are they a threat to us?' you ask? The Ministry of Truth believes they seek to dominate both the Omicron and Omega Regions in order to establish their own Imperialist Domain, pushing out the local Zoner Populations and others who simply sought to get away from the tyranny of the Houses in order to establish a life for themselves. These hostile actions have been spotted over and over again, they will even attack our own nation seeking both technology and living space for their own greed, digging and scraping though the soil of our worlds looking for ruins of past civilizations even if it makes it impossible for new life to grow with their strip-mining methods. Yet even now there are some who resist their corruptive influence, The Order has been known to be in a state of conflict with The Core in order to safeguard humanity from the dangers of Nomadic Technology, much like our Revolutionary Army, furthermore the Corsairs while an enemy of the Coalition has also expressed it's ire towards the Core, particularly after these interlopers claimed Yaren for themselves. This is only good for the People's Republic due to the fact the Corsairs will be forced to divert more resources to combat the Core's influence in the Omicrons and weaken themselves in the Omega Regions.
The Coalition fights them due to repeated acts of hostility displayed by the Core and to remove dangerous technologies from the hands of these terrorists. However there are fears that the rumours of ruins on JiangXi's northern Hemisphere may draw them further into the Omega Regions and would seek to take possession of Coalition territories. The total holdings of this organization is at present unknown, however it is suspected to be substantial enough due to the size of the Core's fleet despite the massacre that took place in Omicron Minor during the Sundering of Toledo.
While the threat of The Core is still mostly confined to the Omicron Region the Revolutionary Army has orders to shoot the Core on sight anywhere in Sirius. If you see a member of the Core report it to your local Commissar, or Revolutionary Army soldier, these terrorists will destroy Sirius if they are left on their destructive path unchallenged. "
