Furries

From now on, Furries will be relegated to the Reservation, along with the Bronies, Ponies and other assorted non-Disco universe characters that have already been assigned there. They have no place in the RP environment of Disco. They will be removed if they are found in Transmission Bars or other areas of Role Play threads.

Please note: This is not a time to pile on those that are known to play Furries. They get persecuted enough and we will not tolerate any abuse that comes their way.

This is -WRONG-

On so many levels this is wrong.

I respectfully request the full meaning behind this decision onto this act. Because where I am standing. There are so many other things the admin team can act against and ban. Not this. Not. This.

For 7 years I have been a member of Discovery. For 7 years I have worked hard to earn the trust and respect of the community with my characters and I have even gone as far as to basically 180 on several of them, for the community.

You benefit this community and I will look after members who do.

Are you guys on the Admin team telling me, that all the years from starting to this point, my hard work, the people who have trolled me so very much and I have withstanded, to the point of utter hatred against me just, and only just, cause of my characters, that the team has decided to basically say "You should've just left if you didn't want to deal with it"

This is an act of discrimination regardless. Some may laugh at that. To me, it means something.

Discrimination: The practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people.

There are more important things the entire Admin team could've been doing instead of this. So. Many. Things.

They get persecuted enough and we will not tolerate any abuse that comes their way.

I feel that I am honestly getting the highest amount of persecution with this action Garret. I am virtually the last of, only 2 players in the -entire- community here that RP as this. Get this right. Two. Dos. Deux. Duo. Toris. And myself. With this action Toris is gone which leaves me. And I am going to fight this action Garret.

If I am going to be banned just for the action of role playing as an Anthromorphic, we honestly need to look more into depths of the Admin team then.

The overwhelmingly approving reactions of the individuals in this thread should indicate how the community at large feels about furries.

May I point out the approving reactions of the individuals doing so are known to be trolls in game and on the forums, act heavily biased in several aspects of their factions. And do whatever they can to just have it 'their way or no way'.


I do pray this is overturned. Because in truth. I refuse to follow this after building so much to help the community. To help better it even against all odds. To earn the trust and respect of those in the community. You might as well just ban -all- creativity if you do this.

Because this action. Is wrong.
