Perhaps the devs were the same? If not, I hope that Disco's have asked Crossfire's before using those models.

We don't have to ask. Yuri made the ships for Discovery and later made them publicly available on the starport, so I'm not too sure what's the problem here.
The only thing preventing the release of these ships on Disco is getting them balanced by the dev team which has been a pending matter for almost a year, aside of that they're already in the files. Bug @Haste to get to work.

Also not to trash but Crossfire's pvp balance is absolutely horrid, if not completely missing. I rather have proper ships introduced on disco than a complete broken mess. There's a reason PVP players come to disco and not other mods. CF is an excellent mod for exploration and general eye candy, but that's it.
