My name is Helmut Weinstein, director of ALG Division V. We handle delicate matters away from the public eye, conduct intelligence and counterintelligence operations, sensitive diplomacy, and combat special ops.
We have been watching and analyzing the situation evolving with some concern. There's certainly no shortage of material in public channels, nor in my view any doubts about who the aggressors and who the victims are here.

If the intelligence we had was insufficient before, a convoy of mostly Independent Miners Guild ships but also including president Atzenbruck's own transport being assaulted by Core capital ships removed any doubts about our course of action.
As you're certainly aware, we've announced our hostility towards the Core as a result.

With our own transports and those of our allies in serious danger when heading to the far Omicrons, I am dispatching Division V combat ships to the region. Furthermore, the Orkan, flagship of Security Division's Alpha Squadron, has remained in the Omicrons after escorting a convoy. Our pilots have orders to engage without hesitation any Core or allied ships which attack our own, or those of our allies. Depending on how the situation evolves, we may be bringing further reinforcements.
