Earlier today, I received a copy of the official transmission from the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Rheinland, Herr Werner Haupt.
It appears that I got caught up in the constant news feeds of the tragedies from Omicron Delta and Freeport 11, and after hearing rumors that the Rheinwehr Omicronkorps was getting ready to deploy to investigate the situation, I immediately thought the worst.
I'm sure you can appreciate that I feel the Kaptains of my transports and their crews are like an extended family, and as such, I would hate to see any harm come to them that I could possibly prevent. This is why I made the decision, hasty as it may seem in hindsight, to deploy all Saint Logistics trade vessels out of Stuttgart and Rhineland space.
The good news is that at that time, I also made the decision to leave our Escort Gunship, Saint Phalanx, docked at Solitaire Metropolis in case any sort of hostilities erupted. For myself and the ship's volunteer crew, it was the only viable option for us to help ensure the safety of our new found friends and business partners.
Please accept my apologies and offer them to the Board for letting my emotions get the best of my business sense. Saint Logistics transports will resume docking with the Solitaire Metropolis as they make return trips from their assigned trade routes.
