Core the new Gallia?

Theres a lot of holes in there, the food thing for starters would require contact with either Synth or the Zoners and a dependancy on supplies to continue growing said food. Yet there is no mention of Core relying upon anyone for supplies or convoys, you even charge people to trade with you. The Nauru farming seems a stretch too as the Corsairs, who are desperate for food wouldn't abandon a planet's worth of farming so easily.

Your funded by the House Governments is a shakey thing too, Kusari is a puppet state for Gallia who I'm fairly certain doesn't even know of Core's existance, Rheinland is practically broke (As always), Bretonia is under siege leaving only Liberty but now they're under the squeeze of Gallia and forced to import everything to build their fleets. Not much cash left to fund a PMC, though I am curious who sells these weapons for you and how they get their shipments. I mean no disrespect but it sounds like cop-out to avoid any vunerabilities.

The Core's survival would make sense if it werent protrayed as a superstrong fighting force hellbent on domination, if the Core was more subversive and played the factions against each other I could understand. Forming a rift and occupying it as far more interesting then "everyone else was just too busy to notice us."

The technology thing I'm not even gonna touch, everyone and their dog can proclaim to have the most advanced tech so the point is moot (I've done it myself with OSC). The icing on the cake however is the bit about the Corsairs not having the power to defeat you, I mean we're talkiing about a pirate superpower here who has connections with an element in every single House in Sirius and is only kept at bay by an equally powerful Outcast nation. If the Core were allied with the Outcasts it would be believable but to say it can hold its own against an entity with that kind of pull is practically absurd.

The bottom line for me is that Core lacks character and true personality because it has no obvious flaws, very little visible dependencies and no shortcomings translated ingame. It may just be me who sees it this way but to really bring the faction to life you'd need to start showing weakness and vulnerability, contact someone to actually sell your weapons, tempt traders to bring you supplies and show the functioning of the Core.
I'd like to see Core get through this teething stage and develop into a solid faction but at the moment you're lumped into the Saturday Morning Cartoon Villian section as the chest beating yin to Gallia's mustache twiddling yang.
