I’m the admin of Chinese server, which is the Official Server of Discovery in China. Lots of us love Discovery so much.
But there is a big problem in Chinese server. The last Leader called 50cent, maybe you know him. he quit now, and leave all things to me. Be honest, the situation of Chinese server is very bad. Admin always not online and the management system are not good enough. So he left all this to me. And trust me maybe I can save it.
50cent want to change all this either, but his work is too busy, he said that, you need to change now times situation.
As I consider, the Chinese server’s player need to experience the Complete RP content. Now times, the faction rules in Chinese server are: build a player base, when the base died, your faction died. And they also can’t enjoy the joy of conquest. So they just play for a while and no longer play. We lost lots of player. I really feel pain of that.
Lots of them think that, Freelancer is too old, that is the basic result of Chinese Server Poor operation. Both you and I know that is bullshit. And I should apologize for the mistake of Chinese server’s admin. Because of the Great Fire Wall, we even can’t connect the GC forum. After I saw GC forum. I feel so much .And I feel sorry for Chinese server’s player. They really didn’t have the thing they should get, and even so, they still love this game, and want to save it.
In china we have lots of Science fiction fans ,I promise you the player interested in Discovery which they can Complete join in to RP play might be the numbers that same as GC server.
Maybe you won’t believe it , let us come to the point. For example, the conquest, or war between the factions won’t change any thing, we even don’t have a Method to calculate how this faction can occupy this system. Last rule is the worst thing I ever seen, we build a player base, and who destroy it, who win.
But player base is stand there by 24 hours ,any one can attack it in any time .So ,this rule had been abolish, now times ,the war or big activity between players only Organized by the players, they play in a really hard way. The official can’t give them any Determination method, and they can’t change the map, either.
OK, I talk too much….I have few question, if you can answer, I will be so grateful.
First. If a player faction wants to be established, want do they need to do. Do they need to upload the Face book to improve their real identity? Or every one can register a faction?
Second, if his faction has set successfully, what if he and his men never get online, it always be a problem in Chinese server. And I saw the online faction Bulletin board in the forum. I want to know how they can do this. I mean ,how could they catch the player account in Specific words, like Core| or something else , GC can even record the player’s ID to Identify which side they are between a war.(like California combat now times happened.) How can you do this? I really want to know.
Third, I really can’t recognize how some factions play for. Err , for example. The USI, The IC, do they really drive the train across Sirius all day? What else can they do? In Chinese server nobody ask to establish these factions, because they really don’t know what to play for. I really want to know what will these factions do, or what kid of big activity they often do. (Especially ALG)
Fourth, what will admin do to let player factions enliven. what kind of activity the admin always put to player factions? For example, if GRN want to break the war to Kusari, the want to take down a station in silence, will the admin agree with them and don’t tell Kusari government? If they do this, will the players say that the admin use unfair means?
Fifth, how did you change the NPC base from the invulnerable into being Capable of destroying? lol.
Sixth, in the final analysis, can the Chinese server develop our own story?
