Faction Status Report Detroit Munitions - /DM/
Provide a brief summary of what your faction has done this month More trading and forum roleplay. We closed down our supply board because nobody was doing it, and we're currently trying to figure out how to make it more enticing and incite competition.
Is your faction experiencing problems the community could help with? Give us feedback, please! Or even better, join! Also, thanks for not calling us Ageira anymore.
Are there any outstanding requests linked to your faction? Aside from the request to go official, no.
Is there anything you would like to add? Join the faction! If you like what you see, or know a way we can improve, tell us so! Talk to us in our Official Faction application or our feedback thread, or, better yet, both. At the end of the day, we can't do this without you all telling us how we can do better, so don't be shy; my number one priority as a leader is making sure that everyone has fun whenever they see a /DM/ tag.
Furthermore, while Detroit isn't an official faction yet, I would like to echo the previously-stated concerns in the {343} posts; the lack of official statement regarding FSRs since the system has been implemented is, to say the least, worrisome, as is the lack of, well, any response on the admin team's part to anything that's been posted in them. While I personally enjoy writing these, because I have Karst-tier enthusiasm for my faction and want to show off how awesome we are every single chance I get, and would furthermore question the right of anyone who doesn't feel that way about their faction to be leading it, I think it's also kind of insulting to the community that something which should obviously be the primary connection between admins and the official factions, who are intended to be the front-line guardians of and pillars of the community, is ignored like it is.
In the entirety of my time on Discovery, one of the primary issues I and others have complained about is a lack of actually-meaningful discussion between players, factions, admins, and the development team. One of the reasons I was so enthusiastic about FSRs when I first heard about them is because I thought the FSR system would be a wonderful remedy to this problem. I wasn't alone in this, because I told @Dane Summers about it too, and he had the same reaction; "why the f*** are people complaining about this system?" The fact that people ARE complaining about the system, despite its incredible potential, shows that something is deeply wrong here. While I'm going to keep filling these out because it makes my faction and I look great, I'm going to follow suit with Char and copypaste these two paragraphs in every FSR I fill from now on until there's some sort of official statement on the matter, and I'd strongly encourage others to do something similar. Thanks for reading this all.
