Severe changes are going on around both the Technology and Advancement Division and our main research base in Roussillon, Le Grande Stockage Fromage. The WeeklyScience is of course ready to inform you about all of the changes.
Le Grande Stockage Fromage Our latest security breach proved that a restructuring of the base and all of it's systems is neccessary. Hereby the Division lead has decided to start it as soon as possible. Plans indicate no change in the outer looks, but the inner structure of the station will definitely change. During the rebuild, the main modules housing the Division, along with the main cryocube storages will be removed and brought to the surface of Toulouse. This change probably won't take too long, but in the meantime, all projects depending on the station, or being closely related to it will halt until the base is redone.
Non-Moving laboratories Due to the massive rehaul of Le Grande Stockage Fromage, researches based off from our science vessels will be delayed as well. While the purpose of the CLSV Marignac and the CLSV Curie is to serve as a mobile base of operations far from our home space, their assignment has to be carefully planned and prepared prior to their start. However because of the occurrance of the theft, the Division Lead decided to declare the restructuring as top priority issue, thus delaying the research assignments of the two science vessels. As many other things, these projects will continue once the base is up and running as it did before.
Valuable cargo Transporting the K'Hara samples to the surface is of great importance as well as the carefullness and security of the task itself. A special delegacy of the Assault and Security Division will be in charge of maintaining the safety of the convoy in this short route. The convoy itself will consist of several reinforced Tarvos-class freighters, and a Vache. Keeping the samples intact and well fed is important for continuing our researches, and tanks in our storages on the surface have been installed to be able to maintain the K'Hara tissues well. Just like all neccessary equipment and machine, the samples will get back to the new station, once it's renewal is done.
Work around the station is quite much and dense lately, and our timetables are full. Despite this, if anything important happens, I will always have an hour or two on every Dimanche to submit the next transmission with all the news. Au revoir, mes amis.
