We wagedwar on multiple fronts against multiple foes yesterday, and although we sustained substantial losses and the Ven'Gyr and Incursus are currently in drydock, the following summary of engagements is still noteworthy. Read up.
Texas engagement
I took my fighter out at 0800 hours to investigate reports of Rogue activity in the Texas system. Upon arriving, I saw two hostiles, a Torpedo and one Lauren Shaw, finishing off a Junker salvage frigate. Even if I have the inclination to save Junkers, it was too late to do anything about it.
Immediately following the salvage frigate's destruction an OSC Luxury Liner came down the lane. Shaw and the Torpedo were warned to let it go. They didn't.
After the Luxury liner was safely on its way, I had a brief chat with a former DSE pilot by the name of Johnny Sanders, evidently sympathetic to our cause. I spoke to him about the Legion, the Commonwealth, and we may be expecting an application on our bounty board from him in the future.
Heading backto base via the Texas - New York jumphole, I rendezvoused with Lieutenant Reeves who had intercepted another two Torpedoes. The engagement did not go as planned, and despite taking two of the Barghests with us our pods were ultimately carried home by Siobhan 'Diamondback' O'Shea.
Approximatelyan hour later back at Hesperia, we received reports of several Lane Hacker bombers assailing transports in Cortez. Upon our arrival they all fled, but we then tracked down two large targets of opportunity in the Colorado system. This proved to be a fatal mistake however, with the Incursus sustaining heavy damage, luckily not far from Ouray. The Sunrise was forced to retreat and suffered no damage, but is still currently stranded in Colorado.
As the following guncam shot shows, there was simply nothing to be done. We'll be redoubling our efforts against the Republic's forces in the following weeks to make up for this loss.

Sierra Engagement Pt I
Returningto California from the Sunrise's hangar on Azure 1, we responded to a distress call from a Legionnaire engaged with a 5th fleet fighter. In retribution for Colorado's engagement it was chased mercilessly to Mojave, unfortunately surviving long enough for the Colorado fleet to assist. Several Xenos joined in to assist us during the fight, including Diamondback and David Rose.
The nearly hour long engagement took place largely within the treacherous Sierra ice field between Hesperia and Mojave, serving as cover for our lighter assets against three carriers and an enemy dreadnought. I managed to break off from the main fight and take command of the Manticore, assisting the Ven'Gyr in destroying their Overlord and critically damaging two of their Atlantis class vessels, one of which was finished off by our fighters and bombers.
Followingthe enemy's retreat from Hesperia, the Coalition arrived en masse with four fighters. Myself, Diamondback, and Rose split up into duels, and I took on the captain of the CPW Lenin myself and broke him over my knee.
What's concerning is that the pilot who managed to flee ordered the others to "fall back to secondary positions". While we can only assume where that may be at this time, it is entirely possible that they are operating from a base of operations within or directly adjacent to House Liberty.
On a final note, Lieutenant Nicholas Fury is hereby promoted to the rank of Major, and is granted clearance for the command of an Inquisitor class gunboat. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the new tools you have at your disposal Major. Do the Legion proud.
