New Server woes

The admins are neglecting to inform the community properly and Alley is once again saying she's leaving for a while. Surprise... surprise.

We're back on the old server since the new one didn't perform as expected.

Or maybe you could leave the poor attitude behind when you post? It's not a matter of neglecting to tell people. There was an error (I believe) when Alley pushed the forums back to the old server due to the new one having networking issues. Forums were down due to the error, and thus we couldn't make an announcement to tell you. So sorry you felt neglected when we couldn't say so. But please, continue making statements like that.

Oh btw, we have been informing people when we have been making server changes. But in case you didn't know already, technology doesn't always work the way you intend it to. Glad though whatever machine you are on has zero issues ever that prevent you from doing what you want, thus you're unfamiliar with any issues. Must be nice!

Thanks to Alley though we're back up and running. Sad to see her take a break, but with attitudes such as yours, I'm not surprised.

I'm well aware of issues showing up and so on, but my comment wasn't focused on the latest unannounced down time.

It was meant in general at the complete movement of the server.
I've not seen any decent 'news' article explaining what was to be expected for the players.
Just some small lines saying 'mirgration this' and 'MySQL' that.
