Hi Petitioner, allow me to make a couple of clarifications.

Our relationship with DHC stems back to over a year ago where DSE and DHC were over the war and the detrimental effects it was having on the respective houses. DSE's angle was to offer DHC an offer that was far better than one any Gallic company could offer in return for their support of DSE desire to strengthen Liberty's economy to be able to take on the might of the GRN. Rheinland's economy was on the verge of collapse due to the cost of war so the intent is to offer DHC opportunities to make a lot of money while DSE capitalised on cheaper manufacturing and the ability to import precious metals from Rheinland via DHC. Yes, technically you would think that we would be direct competitors however we're trying a different approach to strengthen both economies through cooperation.

The Molly's also stem back from our earlier days when we tried importing gold ore from Bretonia. BMM basically blew us off and John Doe (ex president of DSE) was sympathetic to their cause. We made contact with them and had clandestine relationship with them which filled both pockets. Our reputation of them still stands as there has been no negative interaction since. If the molly's have changed their minds, then we'll let role-play direct that outcome.

As for ships being owned by the company, this is no experiment. We've employed this policy ever since our creation in 2010 and has worked really well for us.
