Its usually pretty clear when the Nomad is involved, what with the telepathy and everything. When my Wild wants to refer to him, he'll refer to "Master." If he wants to mention the Nomads, he will use "Lightbringer." He's actually got some parallels with what you sketched out- not quite willingly signed up for infestation, but got used to it and decided that they knew what was best better than he did- after all, when a Nomad infests a human both become far more powerful, and he's only doing what he thinks is right for mankind. The fact that it is more or less the opposite doesn't occur to him, but that has something to do with the fact that his Nomad is actually pretty weak as Nomads go, and barely able to control him (usually doesn't bother to, since he's a better pilot) after the Dyson sphere got hacked into.
