He then went into OSI. "Omicron Supply Industries is one group I worry little about. They have overcome a lot and are still strong. I remember when Sam Nichols started it. He was a good friend. If they're in a bit of a supply lull, they'll get that fixed before long."
He sipped his drink and continued, "Of what I've seen on the Outer Rim, I do like it. In some ways it's like my own Med Force Mediplex in Tau 29. It still needs work but its a work in progress. Perhaps we can get the two working together at some point but that's for another day. One place at a time."
The waiter arrived to check on them. For Alessa's music request, it was almost like clockwork. "Are there any piano players here?" Doc asked him.
He responded softly but both could hear, "Well, Sir, there are some that would like to hear you play. Perhaps it would break the ice?"
As the waiter stood, Doc gave a look towards Alessa as if to seek approval but then just smiled, "I can see where this is headed. Ma'am, if you will excuse me a moment or if you like, you can join me piano side."
He then made his way to the baby grand and sat on the bench. With a quick knuckle crack, he went right into an old song, both playing and singing. Piano Man
