It's being realistic. It's also being tolerant towards other people's behavior, which is a good attitude.
Flying up to your enemy expecting not to get shot is unrealistic. Yelling at your enemy because he shot you when oyu approached his home world is a negative attitude. It's dumber than yelling at people for pirating you. Much, much dumber.
General question for everyone:
Is all this yelling and crying because people shot you a phenomenon that commonly happens in roleplay servers? Or is this something that only happens on Discovery?
