I apologize for the lateness of this reply, I oversee many projects within the Republic and a few had taken my complete attention due to critical stages. I will try and see if an assistant can be assigned at some point, in case this happens again.

The two female assistants were recovered promptly with lacerations to their wrists, ankles, with lesser, not as severe ones on their waists and neck. They inhaled some toxins we have managed to combat, but we are unsure to why the plant attacked. This is also the only time we've had physical plants, beyond the man eating ones south of us we avoid.

Toxins are a major factor, and I'll make sure your field team has a complete map of our surveyed areas to you may be able to avoid the most dangerous areas for the time being.
