RoS - If you do not state your intentions immediately, you will be engaged and destroyed!

I'd kill him too in the above case...hehe.

I know you are all being clear and that your intentions are sincere and I don't even think you all intend to abuse it--but if you read carefully some of the statements made here, and read them as an independent character, they are not "inviting" and they do come across as borderline hostile and threatening.

You've identified "independent" players as "the problem" and thats the beginning of alienating others. Then you assume your faction is better prepared to judge and enforce than most others and that compounds it. Then you issue ultimatums backed by the threat of group force to make players do what you say.

Spin it how you want--even with the best of intentions--its cliquish and excluding in tone.

In the above case--nothing even needs to be given as a new "directive". Current policies make it clear how its to be handled.
