But as awful as that is, you cannot simply deflect legitimate criticism by saying "I do it for free, I'm here for fun, and people disagreeing with the team's actions equates to personal harassment of myself". When you became an administrator, you accepted certain responsibilities, and responsibility is not always fun. You are entirely, at any time, within your rights to leave for any reason, but this attitude you're displaying in response to my attempts to apologetically explain the position that I (and other members of the community) hold regarding today's events is just disrespectful.
I was not nor am deflecting it, contrary to what it looks like (Apologies if it does). There is a HUGE difference between legitimate criticism and harassment. Those who have asked me why via PM or calmly, I answered when I could. I didn't deflect, but I also recognize the value of not opening up a can of worms publically that can be taken out of context, versus a PM or 1:1 where i can speak calmly. So sorry if it seems I'm deflecting, but the ratio of calm, legitimate criticism and questions is vastly overshadowed by the hate, threats, and hostile negativity shown today over pixels.
