Let's fix this

Thanks for posting Bob, really, even though I doubt these people will be unbanned; I think the admins might consider your words for the future.

Idk, I guess I should just state my opinion for the record.

After this, I'm not even fustrated, I'm really just paranoid. Like, I don't break the rules or play the game to harass people, I play it for fun. But even my version of "fun" like raiding with people has been met with dissaproval at times. A lot of people have gotten mad at me from time to time for pummeling them ingame, of course I talk to the said people and apologize/work something out etc. But my point is, is that I get more shit than Karst or Meph or Snoopy or Carter or Impy after ingame raids and what not no matter how much I try to be fair about it. I also get cranky a lot more, so if those people got banned without notice, and they are even more harmless ingame than I am, what might happen to me if I keep on the road I'm on? Am I going to get banned too without notice? Part of me doesn't even want to log in game or make an event or tell my faction members to raid because I'm worried that me playing the game the way I do will just get me banned. I don't break the rules, and I'll always apologize for a mistake ingame and I try to balance the fun. I get mad like everyone else does but still I'll get over it after some time and try to fix whatever mess I've made. I don't know about the forum ban or what happens on the forums with the said banned people (Bc I stopped paying attention) but I think banning these players from playing ingame is wrong. If they're trolling on the forums than probation might be the best option to stop them from trolling but ingame? No way, none of these people are extensive trolls ingame.


Impy just chills on his JM and par takes in raids every now and then, he doesn't harass people extensively ingame at all from what I've seen. Snoopy is my valor buddy and does nothing more ingame than help me and others during raids, he event teaches people how to get better in cap pvp (HE WAS ONE OF MY MENTORS) for those that might be interested. He went out of his way to make an entire tutorial. Karst? Everytime I play ingame with Karst, hes always on his ALG ship helping out Jack or leading convoy, he trades, how is that even remotely detrimental? He's responsible ingame and always tries to help balance the odds in pvp brawls. Hes friendly in conn and is a good training partner, hes a dedicated leader. Meph? He rose GMG| from the ashes, even when literaly EVERYONE hated GMG| he still managed to yank it out from whatever dreadful state it was in and make it into something better he drew attention to the faction and prevented it from being destroyed completely. He's also been a very fun person to fly with and against during raids, he is not detrimental at all in game whatsoever from what I've seen. Swifty doesn't even play currently, how can he be a harm ingame if he doesn't play? Lyth? Yea hes faced with make the tough decisions most of all telling people to stand down in a fight because he leads a faction full of pvp whores. But alone all he does ingame is log his faction and fight in group fights alongside his faction members like any leader would. Its not easy to tell someone that you've spent 15 minutes screaming at in an Echat to log and then tell him/her not to right click for the sake of balance. Really, it isn't, you might have the power but you're taking away that person's fun and basically screwing him/her over after begging them to come and support you. Lyth is one of those people that puts gameplay in front of everything else for his faction members, and thats why Core has winded up ganking a few times. He doesn't want to take away his faction members fun even when he might need to for the sake of balance. But people don't take it out on the faction members they take it out on him even when most of the time he isn't present ingame. But all in all you can see my point, if they are a real harm on the forums, than at MOST put them on probation. But ingame? They don't deserve the ingame ban, none of them do if you ask me.


I mean just looking ingame now a days I barely see 50 people online per day, the server is dying. Taking away active players (swifty just needed his pc running) like the ones you (the admins) just banned isn't helping in my opinion. There's no one to interact with ingame because the server is dying, the entire community is either paranoid or angry at both each other and the you the administration. But like Garrett said its not too late to fix it, if you ask me, put them on probation at max if they are really harmful on the forums, but in-game none of these people are extremely harmful and they should at least be allowed to play the game.
