As he was waiting for Doctor Thorn to leave the table, he looked at her with a slight smile, nodding to her so he would gesture her not to worry about anything, then he turned to Jessica:

"You see, I'm a type of individual that knows it's purpose. Whatever it is thrown at me, even to go trough hell and get back with something, it is what I do. Playing a fetch or not, I don't really care since, I have greater issues to occupy myself with than to act like a child."

He took last shot of his scotch and snapped his fingers to bartender so he would order new round

"Colonel Rose sent me to find you. She told me that she organised her finest assets to track you down. I do not know if you are good at hiding or her men should be slaughtered. She also told me to bring you to her at all costs. So, before we start negotiating with that, tell me what happened with you?"

As bartender arrived, Nomak asked the following

"Scotch? More juice?"
