Initially founded around 650 A.S. in the Cambridge system, Anglesey Abbey used to be one of the many ordinary storage facilities for the oldest and one of the largest shipping companies, known as Border World Exports (Bowex). Business was running as usual for the station at first - ores and other precious materials were distributed everywhere where needed.

As time passed by, people became occupied with variety of issues concerning the Sirius sector, but what really hit the nail in the coffin for the owners back then, was the newly founded Gateway Interstellar corporation. The fierce and aggressive association, owned by a group of wealthy New London investors, had begun active negotiations in Parliament for taking over the regular trading routes of raw material shipments. Few years went by and the Bowex holders were forced to sell Anglesey Abbey to a small prosperous community, rumored to be of royal blood, which transformed the station to a relaxing spot for anybody who could afford it.

The raw material business was put on hold for the moment, as people were seeking shelter and a way to take a break from all their worries being caused by the wars. With things roughly settled down a few years after, the present owners realized they needed help from experienced miners and haulers in order to revive the ore trade as they weren't making enough profit as they had hoped to.

This time base was reformed into an ore processing factory and the entertainment business was put on hold for the moment, until things were running smoothly again, just like the old days before the wars and competing companies showed up in Bretonia. Contacting the right people with the right equipment, switching the station's ownership for one year, did wonders for the raw material business as the station was fully stocked with all kinds of difficultly obtainable ores.

Nowadays Anglesey Abbey is being owned by three Bowex affiliated businessmen who decided that it was about time the station got the attention it deserves. Learning from the previous governors' successes and failings, they came to the conclusion that running entertainment or ore processing business standalone will never be enough for the people in Sirius. The agreement between them and the past owners is conclusive - the assets must be merged.

While keeping the traditions of the oldest shipping company alive, completing contracts with famous and experienced miners, getting ideas from the previous extremely wealthy owners for the entertainment business, Anglesey Abbey has become first fully functional Casino/Ore processing Factory and Storage in the Bretonia space. We urge you to visit us as soon as you can and have a look at we have to offer.

The state of the art ore processing industry which has been developed and improved throughout the long history of the station never ceases to amaze every visitor.

For the moment we've got several ores in stock:
  1. Beryllium Ore - 2500 SC / piece
  2. Cobalt Ore - 2500 SC / piece
  3. Gold Ore - 3500 SC / piece
  4. Raw Hydrocarbons - Price and amounts will be discussed with the customer

The main operation center is the place where all the conveyors of the processing factories, life support systems and communications are being taken care of. Needless to say it is the most important place in Anglesey Abbey.

But maybe you don't feel like buying exceptional ores and instead are seeking a way of making a few extra credits along your way? Then look no further, Anglesey Abbey will be hosting weekly raffles in the casino-bar. Events will vary - so beware, enter at your own risk.
