Because it is so very easy to point at people at power and blaming them. To play as the underdog and try to garner public attention and feedback. But when you actually care for this community what happens to this community and to the place you tend to contribute your free time to, you want it to survive for a few more years and, to do so, you are much more inclined to give up a few members regardless of what your moral compass tends to meet at the time.
Both sides are involved. Both sides are to blame. But only one side is in power. And that is the one who will have the end word, regardless of what or whatever you want to pin as a badge to your chest. They do not give a crap. And neither should you. If you didn't, you wouldn't be here anymore.
Disco as you and I might remember it has ended a long ago, but I still enjoy logging on the server. And I want to continue doing that. If you nuke a few people for that to me to be able to do so - fine by me.
Pot meet kettle Mr 6k?
I did see it. My post was bumping the thread to be honest. I feel as if it's just going to be ignored and sink to the bottom and I don't want to see that happening.
As I said earlier, I disagree with the option used and how it was used, despite the fact that I actually would be quite glad to see some of those members go. (Let's not play guess who.)
I agree that everyone is to blame, but I don't think the Administration playing hardball is a good thing. (Just to add on to this, I think the development team at the very least responds to things with more than "if you don't like it, then leave" logic when something is brought up.)
