Good day esteemed members of the Association. This is Sugawara of the Honshu Heikegani, with some disturbing news.

As you may heard in the news recently, our already poor position in Honshu has been worsening, with the conversion of some of the most bustling industrial sectors into new residential and research hubs, and with the loss of Osaka some months ago. Not only that, but it seems someone is encroaching on our turf as well, although I have been unable to determine if it is one group or more.

Yesterday however, someone failed to keep it under tabs, and a spectacular failure reached the headlines here in Honshu. As far as I know, they say some Hogosha were involved, but so far as I can tell, it was just some non-Associate syndicate.

However, the pitiful show they got themselves involved, with the addition of a hogosha boss dead has attracted the attention of the KSP vultures. We will have to delay our runs to Kamakura Base (not the Town) and Takkinai for a week or so, due to the snooping investigators asking questions and the search warrants in effect in the area for Kamakura (the Town, not the base).

I ask all Associates to provide us with any information about the incident you might come across. I don't wanna get caught with my pants down because some wise guys don't know how to keep their fingers off the triggers while on my territory.
