The relevant members of the development team have reconvened following the administration's recent announcement regarding the punished members and have come to the following conclusion:
The evidence, where it exists, has been provided to the affected players, and where it does not, its nonexistence has been made clear. There is nothing further for us to (realistically) demand, and, in the interests of the community's wellbeing, the strike is lifted. In addition, while not all of us believe the remaining bans or probations to be warranted we do find it to be a step in the right direction, and we appreciate the administration putting in the time to come to any sort of consensus to revise what we believe to have been an initially far more harmful decision.
Finally, we strongly implore - not demand - that the administration reinstate and follow due process of the old rule 1.0 as outlined here by @Garrett Jax
As of this post, the strike is officially lifted and all involved intend to continue work on Discovery Freelancer. We look forward to a brighter future on a server where mistakes like these are hopefully not made again.
