Hamburg Incident

---

There was an unusual incident during my operational work in the Hamburg System. I've received information about the possibility of smuggling slaves across the system. I immediately took operational steps in order to investigate the matter. Near Planet Hamburg i came across a transport vessel which could be the potential target, establishing contact with the pilot i did scan his cargo which turned out to be positive, carrying about 2,000 unregistered people and a Freelancer ID.

I asked for support the nearby patrolling Polizei unit RFP|Geilenkirchen, which appeared immediately on the place to take over the illegal human contraband. Operational work began taking on the steps to arrest and bring the pilot to a military station. The freelancer Pilot did unexpectedly start his engines and release a flare that fooled my Disruptor Missle and headed right onto Planet Hamburg. Polizei vessel Geilenkirchen imposed a dock blockade on the ship remote control, but instead to the docking module, the ship came to a low orbit and then into the atmosphere of Hamburg where it suffered a catastrophic decompression.

Some people from the illegal transport could be rescued by using the life pods. The RNF|Geilenkirchen and an accidental ALG - Transport Pilot took them on board and then to Planet Hamburg and Nuremberg, ensuring safety.


NOTE: I confiscated two life pods for operational needs. It is unknown for what reasons did the pilot decide to take such a step. But a regular smuggler doesn't just commite suicide, without even trying to fight.


NOTE2: Operational information which turned out after the interrogations of the two suspects, claims that the transport was heading from Liberty - most likely from Pittsburgh, Manhattan, to a Red Hessian Base, which was told to be their "Freedom". Most likely it could be the Freital Base in the Omega-11 System. One living suspect is under temporary military arrest at the
Westfalen Battleship willing to cooperate at any time. The other wasn't.


NOTE3: While heading back and escorting Geilenkirchen and the ALG Pilot, i encountered on the tradelane a Liberty Police vessel, which i tried to follow immediately from New Berlin to the Hudson jumpgate in Hamburg, unfortunately without success.
