Since you had to interact with me, I'll take this one and give short answer.

There's small reason why "K'Hara" said 4 lines of RP - You led it to yourself.

So how does it works. If you ignore a nomad - leads them to aggression toward you, if you insult nomad or disappoint it - the same ending. I appreciate that you decided to continue RP when saw K'Hara aiming at you, to win some more time and at least get to the station for quickdock and save the loot.
